In keeping with our theme this year of discipling others, we are looking for women and men to equip them for discipleship.  We need to know how much material to get.  Please let Roland know of your interest.

                                             Ongoing Opportunities

Worship Service: We gather together on Sundays at 10:00 a.m. for our worship service.

In Small Group Meetings: We provide small group opportunities for Bible study, time of prayer, and fellowship. We have a variety of small group topics which include but are not limited to the study of doctrine, determining one’s spiritual gift(s) and ministry, and sharing the gospel. Moreover, we have small group opportunities for men and women as well as occasional small group home meetings. Please contact Pastor Roland on the current small group meetings.

Missions/Outreach: We support endeavors to reach people for Christ both locally and abroad. We encourage involvement in praying for and financially supporting our missionaries.

Special Seasonal Gatherings: During Easter and Christmas, we have combined services with Hope Chapel North Shore and Paipala Church.

Iron Sharpens Iron: A symposium is a meeting in which several speakers, usually specialists in their field, gather together to deliver a topic before an audience.  In contrast to a colloquium, which is formal and academic, a symposium is informal and social in nature. The Iron Sharpens Iron Symposium is a modified version of a symposium.

The purpose of Iron Sharpens Iron is to sharpen individuals with his/her ability to reason and then respond. It will be apologetic* in nature and will be according to the thrust of I Peter 3:15: But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts and always be ready to give a defense to everyone who asks you a reason for the hope that is in you, with meekness and fear.

Miss Jacinda St. Mart will be presenting and defending her paper, Islam and Christianity. What is the Difference?

Our panelists will include Pastor Mo Puha of Calvary Chapel Central, Mr. Chet Crain of Maui Christian Academy—High School and Pastor Roland Hara of Haiku Bible Church.

*Christian Apologetics is the science of giving a defense of the Christian faith.
